It is said that everything gets better with coffee. And why won’t it be? The beautiful aroma of those roasted coffee beans is good enough to wake anyone from sleep. Also, the lip-smacking flavour of the varieties served around the world will make one take a trip to a new place every year. Over its beautiful flavour –  friendships, work, love are sure to survive for a very long time.

Here is a list that briefly explains what differentiates the varieties of coffee from each other.

 1) Espresso

The espresso form of coffee has no milk, just pure coffee. It is generally made from a single 1 oz shot of coffee prepared with 7 – 8 gms of finely ground coffee.

2) Cappuccino

Cappuccino mostly consists of equal parts of espresso, steamed milk and sugar. These ingredients are added for those who adore coffee in diluted and weaker form. However, a coffee cup full of Cappuccino gives a kick of energy its consumer.

3) Cafe Latte

Latte is nothing but Cappuccino with more milk added to it. It is one part Espresso with 4 to 5 parts of steamed milk. Also, a small amount of froth is added on the top.

 

4) Cafe Mocha

Cafe Mocha is popular as after dinner coffee. Mostly served in coffee mugs, Mocha is one part Espresso with one part chocolate syrup and two to three parts frother milk. Whipped cream is optional with Cafe Mocha.

 

5) Frappe

Frappe is cold Espresso mostly consumed by people in summer months. It is prepared with coffee, sugar, water and ice and served in a long glass that turns it into a big coffee milkshake.
