As we celebrate the auspicious occasion of Independence Day on 15th of August, 2015, our focus should be on freedom. This is a day to express our sincere gratitude to all the brave patriots who sacrificed their lives just to brand our nation “Free”. We had rulers and dictators every time on our head, people were controlled and had no free will. Fortunately, India witnessed men and women like Mahatma Gandhi, Rani of Jhansi, Shubhash Chandra Bose, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, and million others who were on an oath to take our country towards Independence.
The integral part of the Independence Day is that we pay our tribute to these great people and million others who sacrificed their lives but are not known or remembered. Everyone pays homage in their own way but there lays one common thread of showing respect across the country. As the Sun of Independence day wakes up, not only the Prime Minister hoist the Indian Flag at Red Fort but almost every Indian schools, offices, agencies and other institutions hoist the Indian flag at their respective places. Every radio and TV channel entertain their listeners and viewers respectively with patriotic themes. So on 15th of August every year there remains a patriotic vibe in the air of India.
However, there remained challenges even after the freedom that were not in the favor of the growth and development of the country. Be it the division of the country, escalated illiteracy rate, high dependency of farmers on monsoon for the production of crops, increasing poverty etc. Every challenge was a big hamper in itself for the development of the nation.
But we believe that Freedom is a chance to be better. Along with the passage of time and with the passing of each Independence Day every year, India now has overcome lot many challenges and is no more listed under the third world countries. In fact, India is now at par with the developed nations of the world. Be it in the field of science, technology, medical or space. India is one of the well-respected nation of the world.
Towards the end, promoting a free spree and a patriotic spirit, UrbanDazzle wishes everyone a very Happy Independence Day.
