For a healthy morning start, cook egg sandwich for your child

With the increase of rush and stress in our lives, we feel short of time for almost all day to day activities. Now in almost all the homes, mothers are also engaged in earning. Due to their work  involvement, the time needed for cooking is compromised with the improper accommodation of  nutritions in our diets. Hence, a healthy start of the day is a must so that you and your family especially  your child don’t starve.

To give your child a better start of the day, egg sandwich is the food option that is easy to cook and healthy to eat. You may note the recipe for the same.

Preparation Time: 1 minute

Cooking Time: 4-5 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 slice of American Cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Method:

  • Crack the egg into a microwave safe bowl.
  • Add 1 tbsp milk to it and whisk these together.
  • Add salt and black pepper to it. Place the bowl in microwave for 2 minutes or till the time mixture is cooked.
  • You may toast the bread while the egg gets ready.
  • Place the bread and pour the cooked egg on the toasted bread.
  • Top with the slice of cheese and the other piece of toast.
  • Put the sandwich in the microwave and cook for about 15-18 seconds till the cheese melts.
